Format & Logistics

Why Hybrid?

Beatmatching, scratching, and live-performance modules need hands-on gear time, so those sessions run in person with a strict student-per-station ratio. Theory, music-library management, and business modules stream live so students outside Palm Beach County can keep up without losing hands-on rotation.

Seat Caps

In-person seats are capped at roughly two students per available DJ controller/mixer station to guarantee real hands-on time every session — not just observation.

Meet the Instructors

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my own equipment?+

No. All in-person sessions use AYP Services' own controllers and mixers. If you already own gear, bring it — we'll train you on your own setup too.

What's the difference between in-person and online sessions?+

Hands-on modules (beatmatching, scratching, live performance) run in-person so you get real time on real gear. Theory, library management, and business modules are available live-streamed so out-of-county students can keep up without missing hands-on time.

Where are in-person sessions held?+

Location is confirmed at enrollment based on class size and schedule — currently rotating between our Palm Beach Gardens studio and select partner venues.

Can I switch tracks or get a refund?+

You can move between tracks with instructor approval before session 2. Tuition is refundable in full before the first session and prorated after — ask us for full policy details.

Do you help me actually get booked after the course?+

Yes. Mobile DJ & Events Business track graduates get a bookable profile page, and top Foundations/Performance Pro grads are considered for AYP Services' own DJ roster and venue nights.
